The Company:
Our client provides world class catering services for a renowned airline company. Customers include 1st and business class lounges with a mix of a la carte restaurant and buffet service. They have a reputation for excellent quality and consistency, and they offer superb career opportunities.
The Job Role:
Overall responsibility for a team of 30 chefs at a Heathrow based unit, which comprises of a very busy multi-site operation.
You will manage all production and on site cooking activities, to ensure a service delivery that will meet the client’s specifications and expectations.
Responsible for the development of all menus and food concepts for Heathrow, and five other UK locations.
Required to liaise with an outside development partner who produce food for a regen operation.
The individual we are looking for:
You will need previous extensive experience of managing a busy kitchen operation
Experienced in multi-site operations delivering up to 3 rosette level quality food.
Posses a high command of written and spoken English, and good interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent leadership skills, together with being an innovative and pro-active thinker who is customer focused.
Demonstrable experience of managing through KPI’s, excellent presentation skills, and intermediate IT skills. Financial budgetary skills are also required.
